How to Replace Car Speakers in the Rear Headliner on 2000 Jeep Cherokee?

Before replacing the rear headliner speakers, you should first isolate the battery's negative cable. Work around the edge of the speaker grille with a trim stick or a flat-bladed tool to quietly disconnect the five snaps and the speaker grille will be easy to remove. After that, remove the two screws and gently lower the speaker to get to the speaker wire. When reattaching the speaker, first adjust the headliner, use the same procedures in reverse and secure the screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.).
