  • Q: How to Maintain and Fix Wiper Blades on 2000 Jeep Cherokee?
    A: To work and fix the wiper blades, lift the wiper arm before taking the wiper blade and element away from the windshield glass for the front wiper. To detach the wiper blade from the wiper arm, press the button under the arm tip and pull the blade backwards off the tip towards the arm's pivot. To fit the wiper element, push the retainer part in the U-shape formed in the arm's tip until the tab snaps into place, with the retainer's notch facing the wiper blade that is connected to the engine. To use the rear wiper, first lift the rear wiper arm to remove the wiper and element from the rear lift glass. To remove the wiper blade, push the lever under the arm at the tip and gently pull the blade to the spot where the rear wiper motor is attached. Firmly move the blade retainer into the symmetrical groove on the tip of the wiper arm and when it clicks, make sure the notched part of the retainer points towards the end of the blade closest to the wiper motor.
