How to Replace and Reinstall an Ignition Coil on 2000 Jeep Cherokee?

The ignition coil should be replaced with an equivalent type stuffed with epoxy if removed. Disconnect the secondary cable and engine harness then remove the mounting bolts. Install a new coil and tighten to 11 Nm for nuts/bolts or 5 Nm for bolts only. Reconnect the harness and ignition coil cable.
