How to Change a Rear Wiper Blade on Jeep Cherokee?

For replacement, lift the wiper arm upward to move the hinge into its over-center position, to ensure that the element and wiper blade come away from the back window. To remove the wiper, push the release tab under the tip of the arm and move the blade towards the pivot end until the pivot block no longer hooks on to it. Pull the wiper arm out of the opening in the wiper blade superstructure towards the pivot block/latch unit, being sure not to allow the wiper arm spring to strike the window, as this could break something. Move the wiper arm tip slowly down onto the glass. After lifting the rear wiper arm off the glass, insert the blade's notched retainer into the hook on the end of the arm, closest to the wiper motor output shaft. Insert the hook formation under the wiper blade superstructure ahead of the latch unit and move the wiper blade pivot block/latch up into the hook until the tab snaps into its slot. Gently touch the wiper blade down onto the window.
