How to Safely Release Fuel System Pressure to Service Fuel Injectors on 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

The pressure in the fuel system remains throughout, so you should always release it before servicing the fuel injectors. Removing any fuel injector should be done after first completing the Pressure Release procedure for the fuel system. After that, take out the fuel injector rail. Following this, remove the clip(s) that hold the injector(s) onto the fuel rail and after that, pluck out the injector(s). Prior to installation, put a little engine oil on the O-rings of all the fuel injectors. Put the injector(s) and the injector clip(s) on the fuel rail again, then attach the fuel rail assembly back. Turn the engine on and look for any drops of liquid from the vertical lines.
