How to Remove and Install a Turn Signal Flasher on 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

The turn signal flasher is attached to the back part of the multi-function switch and can be serviced alone. Before taking out the flasher, open the hood and take out the battery negative cable. After that, take out the upper steering column cover. After that, the flasher can be pulled forward and taken out from near the instrument cluster. Wedge the combo-flasher tabs together, insert it into position and snap the upper shroud into its spot. Now, attach the other battery terminal, shut the hood and check both the vehicle's and the system's operation.
