A: The negative battery cable of the vehicle should first be disconnected and air cleaner box should be removed to service the EGR tube. Now, take off the EGR tube clamp bolt at the intake manifold and slide the clamp out of the slot for the intake manifold. Secondly, unfasten the two other bolts that are on the EGR valve and tear out the tube along with the gasket, not forgetting to remove and inspect the gasket on the intake manifold. To install, Install the tube and gasket, then place gasket on the intake manifold. Tighten the bolt and you will see the two bolts that secure the EGR valve to the two bolts on the bottom of the intake manifold, remember to slide the clamp back in the intake manifold slot.
