How to Service an EGR Tube on 2002 Chrysler Sebring?

Before starting service on the EGR tube, remove the air cleaner box and then cut off the negative battery cable. After that, take out the bolt clamping the EGR tube to the intake manifold and pull the clamp out of its slot. After that, get rid of the two bolts from the EGR valve and extract the tube and gasket, making certain to replace the damaged silicone seal on the intake manifold as well. Before placing the manifold, check all its surfaces and, if needed, swap the sealed rubber silicone part on the intake manifold. Set up a new gasket between the EGR tube and EGR valve, screw in the EGR valve bolts loosely, snug the clamp into the intake manifold and tighten its bolt to 11.3 N.m (100 in. lbs.). Tighten the bolts of the EGR valve to 11.3 N.m (100 in. lbs.), reattach the air cleaner box and join the negative battery cable back to the battery.
