2001 Chrysler Voyager A/C Switch Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service the Rear A/C Switch for Heater Control on 2001 Chrysler Voyager?
A: For this next step, start by removing and separating the battery's negative cable. Lift the edge of the rear heater-A/C control bezel from the headliner with a wide flat tool to free the two snap clip retainers. Slide the rear heater-A/C unit and its control backward to uncover the headliner wire harness connector on the back, then remove the connection between the two. Unfasten all the clip holding the rear heater-A/C control to the headliner, then remove the three screws securing the heater-A/C to the bezel and take it out of the panel. Attach the rear heater-A/C control to the bezel and tighten with the three screws set to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.) After that, place the rear heater-A/C control and bezel unit on the headliner and reattach the headliner wire harness connector to its receptacle on the control. Fit the locator tabs of the rear heater-A/C control and bezel unit onto the back of the headliner, near the front and slide the unit forward so the snap clips on the bezel can line up with the snap clip receptacles on the retainer above you. Push upward on the raised edge of the rear heater-A/C control switch until the clips fit in their receptacles. Then, connect the battery negative cable one more time.
