How to Service and Repair a Power Steering Hose for Pressure Hose on 2001 Dodge Durango?

Drain the pressure from the power steering system and bring up and support the vehicle before servicing the hose. Take the pressure hose out of the pump, take it off the gear and similarly take it from your vehicle. While installing, fit the pressure hose back onto the car and reconnect it to the gear, turning it till the torque is at 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.). Hook the pressure hose back onto the pump and tighten it to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.) at the same time. Afterwards, remove the support and lower the vehicle and then fill up the power steering system again.
