To look after the inner tie rod end, raise the car, place it firmly on supports, then remove the tire and wheel and finally the outer tie rod end. After that, remove the boot seal and take out the inner tie rod end from the rack. Be sure to not twist the boot during installation. Place the inner tie rod end into the rack and pinion and secure it to 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.). Once done, fit the boot seal, the boot seal and then replace the tire and wheel. Last, take out the support, lower the car and set the toe pattern on the wheels.
