2001 Dodge Durango Windshield Washer Nozzle Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Rear Windshield Washer Nozzle on 2001 Dodge Durango?
A: Before handling the washer spray nozzle, open the car's liftgate, grab a suitable wide flat-bladed object such as a trim stick and gently pry the sides of the nozzle to release the snaps that hold it in place. As soon as it is possible, pull out the rear washer nozzle and disconnect the washer supply hose from its barbed end at the washer nozzle. When the old nozzle is gone, attach the new rear washer nozzle into the mounting area on the liftgate outer panel and link it to the barbed pipe coming from the washer supply. Feed the supply hose and nipple through the opening in the liftgate, then press your hand against the rear washer nozzle and apply steady force so the snap features securely hold inside the mounting hole.
