How to Service and Repair an A/C Accumulator on 2001 Dodge Ram 1500?

In order to service the HVAC accumulator, disconnect battery negative cable and recuperate refrigerant. Take away the low-pressure switch, break refrigerant lines and withdraw accumulator. To install, reconnect, tighten the retaining band, reinstall the switch, reconnect the battery, evacuate and charge the system and add refrigerant oil in case of replacement.
