Unscrew the nut joining the block fitting to the stud on the condenser and then remove the discharge line from the condenser, installing plugs into or taping up the opened refrigerant line fittings. On these models, unscrew the nut joining the refrigerant line bracket to the stud on the compressor bracket. Later, take the screw off holding the refrigerant line manifold to the compressor and tape or insert plugs over every opened refrigerant line fitting.
