How to Install a Driveshaft Center Support Bearing and Why Is It Crucial to Use the Original Type on 2001 Dodge Ram 1500?

There are two kinds of driveshaft center support bearings that cannot be interchanged hence install the original kind. Disassemble the rear propeller shaft, separate half-shafts and a bearing splitter to install to remove the old bearing. Fit new slinger and a new bearing, clean half-shafts, set up half-shafts and fit up propeller shaft.
