How to service and repair the A/C Accumulator on 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Van?

To service the A/C accumulator, disconnect the battery, recover refrigerant, and remove screws to remove the accumulator and liquid line fittings. Install plugs on open fittings. For installation, reconnect the accumulator, tighten the screws to the value of 13.5 Nm, reconnect the battery, evacuate and charge the system and fill with 30 ml of recommended refrigerant oil if replaced.
