Release the refrigerant from the cooling system, after you have isolated and removed the battery negative cable. Depress the clicker and pull the A/C accumulator outward to expose the screw securing it. Loosen that screw, plus the screw next to the liquid line block fitting and pull the block fitting off the inlet. Put plugs in or tape over every refrigerant line fitting before you begin. After this, unscrew the A/C accumulator from the suction line jumper block fitting and detach the outlet from the block addition, again sealing all open refrigerant line ports with plugs or tape. Get rid of the A/C accumulator that is in your engine compartment. Remove the tape or plugs from both jumper block and A/C accumulator outlet tubes, fit the outlet to the suction line jumper block, add a screw and tighten it to 13.5 Nm (120 in. lbs.). Do this for the liquid line block and A/C accumulator inlet, securing both with a screw and tightening them to 13.5 Nm (120 in. lbs.). After reconnecting the battery negative cable, break the vacuum and charge your fridge. If a replacement A/C accumulator is fitted, the manual states you should add 30 milliliters (1 fluid ounce) of the correct refrigerant oil for your vehicle's compressor to the system.
