  A: The first step in working with the fuel injector is to pressurize the system and take out the negative cable from the battery. Remove the plenum from the engine after you take out the mounting bolts and protect the intake manifold. Reach behind the intake manifold to remove the quick fittings from the fuel supply tube. If the injector connectors lack their cylinder number, apply tags to them for easy identification. Take the fuel injector wiring connector out, then get the bolts that hold the fuel rail from the top of the cylinder head and move the fuel rail up by hand. Ease the retaining clips off the fuel injectors, then remove all of them. Before installing the fuel injectors, lubricate the O-rings lightly with clean oil and install the clips on each injector after that. Push the fuel injectors all the way into the rail until their retaining clips are in place. Apply pressure while installing the fuel rail, above the cylinder head and make sure the tightening bolts are firmly tightened to 12 Nm (106.2 in. lbs.) torque. Join the rear-pointing quick connect fittings on the fuel supply tube and plug the electrical cables into the fuel injectors. Next, fit the intake manifold plenum and attach the negative cable back to the battery.
