How to Maintain and Fix a Door Lock Cylinder on 2001 Jeep Cherokee?

To fix the door lock cylinder, remove the door trim panel and waterdam. Disconnect the latch to lock cylinder rod, and remove the lock cylinder and retainer clip. Attach the rod to the new cylinder, install it, put the clip in, reconnect the rod and reinstall the trim panel.
