  A: The first step to replacing the rear wiper arm is to disconnect the rear washer nozzle hose and clip from the external nipple of the rear wiper motor output shaft bezel. Lift up on the rear wiper pivot cover and get rid of its retaining nut. Manually put the rear wiper arm up so that the over-center arm hinge holds the wiper blade clear of the rear window. Gently rock the rear wiper arm pivot end away from the output shaft on the motor.
