How to Service and Repair a Power Steering Gear Seal on 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To service the steering gear, clean out the pitman shaft and housing, center the stub shaft and remove the pitman shaft cover. Remove the dust and oil seals then fit new bearings and seals with suitable drivers. Finally, reassemble the pitman shaft, cover and do torque adjustments.
