When putting the starter motor into place, attach it to the lower engine compartment and tighten it with the mounting bolts to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). Wire the starter motor, tightening its solenoid battery cable nut to 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.); and follow the proper reinstallation routine for the Engine Structural Collar to not hurt the oil pan or collar. Pull the vehicle from the hoist, reattach the negative battery cable and put the cover back into place over the air cleaner. After that, check how the vehicle and systems work, replace the hood and use the hoist to lower the car safely.
