2002 Chrysler Sebring Fuse Box Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service the Fuse Box and Body Control Module on 2002 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Begin by unplugging the negative remote cable connected to the Junction Box and Body Control Module at the left shock tower's remote terminal. Remove the end cap from the front driver's door, then the center bezel, instrument cluster hood and silencer. Cut the wiring harness connections out of the Junction Box and take out the three mounting screws. Unplug the wire connectors at the BCM and while still pulling the BCM from the mounting bayonet, gently pull up on the Junction Box/BCM. Once the Junction Box is removed, release the BCM by removing its two screws and pushing back the two locking latches. When installing, slide the BCM over the Junction Box and fix it in place using the screws provided. Replace the Junction Box/BCM in the car, attach the BCM wire connectors and fasten the Junction Box with its screws. Plug the wire harness connectors back in, put the silencer in place, attach the instrument cluster hood, center bezel and end cap. To complete the job, reattach the negative battery cable as well.
