2003 Chrysler Sebring Fuse Box Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How is a Fuse Box Serviced and Replaced on 2003 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Since the PDC is part of a unit with the headlamp/dash wire harness, a problem with any circuit in the PDC or its case requires the unit to be entirely switched out. First, unhook power from the battery negative cable and next take off the housing and resonator of the Air Inlet System. Bring every wire harness connection clear of the engine compartment, remembering to read how to work with the wiring, follow diagrams, use proper repair procedures and be aware of where these should be positioned. Separate each engine compartment wire harness ground eyelet from the vehicle body and chassis parts by taking out the fasteners and lift the retainers securing the wire harness to these areas. After that, remove the nut fastening the PDC to the mounting bracket and remove the PDC and the engine compartment electrical items from inside the engine compartment together. If you are using a new power distribution center, transfer all the fuses, fuse cartridges, fusible links and relays from the old center into the proper places in the new one, still using the wiring information. Align the PDC flush with the engine, attach the mounting slots on the frozen turbine blades with the slots on the bracket and then install the nut inside the PDC. Guide the wire harness from the PDC down into the engine compartment and secure every harness retainer in place using the vehicle body and chassis anchors. Connect and fasten all the ground eyelets from the engine compartment wire harness to vehicle body and chassis substances, then attach each of the wire harness connectors and in the end link the battery negative cable.
