2002 Chrysler Voyager Speed Sensor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Vehicle Speed Sensor on 2002 Chrysler Voyager?
A: When servicing the vehicle speed sensor, first release the connector from the sensor, ensuring the weather seal on the connector has not been removed. Number two, take out the bolt securing the sensor in the housing and gently remove the sensor and pinion gear from the housing. Take the pinion gear away from the sensor and examine it for any missing parts, putting in a new unit if you notice any. Change the O-ring any time you remove the vehicle speed sensor. Put the vehicle speed sensor, the pinion gear and the new O-ring into the extension housing and then tighten the bolt to 7 Nm (60 inch lbs.). After that, attach the harness connector and lower the vehicle into place.
