You should first remove the negative battery cable before handling the Controller Antilock Brake. Turn the locks on the CAB harness connector and tug on the harness connectors to remove them from the CAB. After that, remove the pump motor connection from the pump and unscrew the CAB from the HCU, then remove the CAB. Make sure the seal on the CAB goes on the HCU first, then position the CAB correctly before you install it. After inserting the mounting screws, tighten them to 4 - 4.7 Nm (36 - 42 in. lbs.). Connect the pump motor harness now and make sure to link it to the CAB connector, locking it after. In the last step, link the battery back to the car. When you replace the CAB, enter the type of rear axle and tires into the new Chassis Diagnostic.
