How to Service and Repair the ABS Control Module in the Hydraulic Control Assembly for Antilock Brakes on 2002 Dodge Durango?

Before servicing or repairing the Hydraulic Control Assembly for Antilock Brakes, remove the battery negative cable. Next, take away the brake lines from the HCU, push the locks on each harness connector and take off the connectors on the CAB. When you're done with the first step, undo the bolts that attach the assembly to the bracket and pull it out of the vehicle. When placing the antilock device into the bracket, tighten the bolts so that the force applied is 10 - 12 ft. lbs. or 14 - 15 Nm. Following that, put the CAB harnesses together and hook up the brake lines with HCU and be sure to tighten the fittings to 19 Nm (170 inch lbs.). Once done, join the battery back and purge the brake lines.
