A: To do brake master cylinder service and repair, begin with removing the brake lines from the brake master cylinder and turning off the automatic brake failure switch. After that, unscrew the nuts securing the brake master cylinder and remove the brake master cylinder. Before installing the brake master cylinder, make sure to bleed it first. After that, connect the brake master cylinder to the booster using the studs and attach it using the mounting nuts, tightening them to 18 Nm (160 inch lbs.). Link the brake lines together again and tighten them to 19 Nm (170 inch lbs.). Then, link up the low fluid level switch connector. Afterward, bleed the main part of the braking system.
