How to Service and Repair a Tie Rod End on 2002 Dodge Durango?

To start, free the jam nut and take out the outer tie rod end nut at the steering knuckle before doing any work. With Remover MB-991113, take out the ball stud from the knuckle and undo the thread of the outer tie rod end from the inner tie rod. Insert the end of the outer tie rod onto the inner tie rod first and backward into the steering knuckle. Apply 81 Nm (60 ft. lbs.) to the ball stud nut on the steering knuckle and add 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.) to the jam nut. Once done, set the toe on each wheel.
