  A: The camshaft position sensor is set in the back of the cylinder head. You should first pull off the brake booster line and connector from their holders on the end of the cylinder head cover and then put them back where they belong. Then, take out the electrical leads connected to the camshaft position sensor and free the screws attaching it before removing the sensor. Unscrew the magnet retaining screw that holds the target magnet on the camshaft's rear. For installation, set the target magnet over the end of the camshaft, so the two locating dowels fit into the machined holes, then tighten the screw to 3.4 Nm (30 in. lbs) of torque. After that, install the camshaft position sensor and tighten its screws to a torque of 9 Nm (80 in. lbs). Put the brake booster hose and the electrical harness into their holders on the valve cover end and attach the electrical connector to the camshaft position sensor.
