How to Service a Dimmer Switch on 2002 Dodge Neon?

Before you begin, disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable and then remove each upper and lower steering column shroud. After that, take out the connectors on the posi-lock harness at the rear spot on the multi-function switch and get rid of the screws. When changing the multi-function switch, attach the combination flasher and the windshield wiper/washer controls onto the new switch. In order to install, move the windshield wiper/washer and flasher levers to the new multi-function switch, put in the mounting screws and tighten them to 3 Nm (27 in. lbs.) torque. Attach the positive lock harness connectors at the rear of the switch, clip the steering shrouds in place and lastly connect the negative cable to the battery.
