  A: Start the wheel cylinder servicing or repair by holding the brake pedal with a brake pedal holder at the first inch so that the master cylinder is not influenced by the hydraulics. Lift the vehicle and take out the rear tire and wheel set. Disconnect the rear brake flex hose from the wheel cylinder and remove the rear brake drum. Use the brake shoes you've removed to determine whether they need to be washed of excess grease or fluid and then changed. Fit the wheel assembly and tighten the mounting nuts to a torque of 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.), after which, adjust the rear brakes. Loosen the vehicle, take out the brake pedal holder, flush any air in the wheel cylinder and drive around on the road to test its brakes.
