  A: To work on the windshield washer motor, first take off and set aside the battery negative cable. After that, unplug the headlamp and dash wire harness connector from the motor connector receptacle. Ease off the supply hose from the barbed outlet nipple on the washer pump/motor so that any leftover washer fluid can be put into a clean container to reuse. Work the trim stick or another appropriate tool beneath the barbed nipple of the washer pump to move it gently out of the seal in the reservoir without scratching the reservoir. Take out and throw away the rubber grommet found at the pump's entrance in the washer tank. To install, slip a brand new rubber grommet seal into the washer pump mounting hole. Lay the barbed inlet nipple of the washer pump on the rubber grommet in the reservoir and push it evenly into place until it is fully fitted. Attach the hose from the washer to the pump's barbed nipple and put the headlamp wire connector into the opening on the motor connector receptacle. Pour the previous washer fluid into the reservoir and reconnect the battery's negative cable at the end.
