How to Service and Repair a Door Jamb Switch on 2002 Dodge Ram 2500?

In order to fix the door switch, disconnect the battery negative cable. Plug the switch to the door hinge pillar with pliers and unplug the wire harness. To install, attach the switch to the harness once again, slide it into the pillar and attach the battery negative cable.
