How to Maintain the Headlight Switch on 2002 Dodge Ram 2500?

First, turn off the air bags by unhooking the battery negative cable and after two minutes of discharging the capacitor, you may work on the headlamp switch. The first step is to unscrew the cluster bezel and then handle the three nuts fixing the headlamp switch to the instrument panel. Draw the headlamp switch outward from the panel, then pull the two connectors off the back of the switch. Once you remove the old headlamp switch, set the new one in the instrument panel and attach the two wire harness connectors. Screw in the three screws for the headlamp switch to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.), replace the cluster bezel and then attach the battery negative cable again.
