How to Maintain and Fix a Throttle Cable on 2002 Dodge Ram 2500?

To get the throttle cable repaired, disconnect the negative battery cables. Remove cable retainer and core wire from the accelerator pedal. Separate the cable housing and cover and pry off the cable connector. Reinstall the cable making sure it snaps into place and reconnect the battery cables before testing the accelerator.
