2002 Dodge Ram 3500 Parking Brake Shoe Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair Parking Brake Shoes on 2002 Dodge Ram 3500?
A: Before fixing the parking brake shoes, you should raise your car, remove the tire and wheel assembly and then work on the disc brake caliper and disc brake rotor. Remove the cable from behind the rotor by locking it out which helps you disassemble the park brake shoes. When the rear park brake shoes are taken out, put them back in place, let go of the parking brake cable and adjust them. After that, fit the disc brake rotor, then secure the disc brake caliper, put the tire and wheel back on and finally lower the car.
