2002 Jeep Wrangler Wiper Blade Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Change Your Wiper Blade on 2002 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Before replacing the front wiper blade, open the front wiper arm so that the entire wiper element and blade come off the windshield, with the notch near the blade facing the wiper pivot. Push the release tab with your finger until it pops out from the arm's tip, then move the wiper blade toward the pivot end until the pivot block slides out of its hook. Separate the hook on the tip of the wiper arm from the wiper blade superstructure where the opening is, preventing the wiper arm from snapping sharply while removed. Softly let the wiper arm end fall onto the vehicle's outer glass. For installation, first raise the front wiper arm away from the glass and then set the new wiper blade close to the hook formation on its tip, making sure it faces the wiper pivot. Place the hook formation through the opening in the wiper blade panel above the pivot block, so that the pivot block and hook unite. Push the wiper blade pivot block/latch until it engages the hook, making sure to hear the release tab click into place and finally lower the blade onto the glass.
