2001 Jeep Wrangler Wiper Blade Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Change a Wiper Blade on 2001 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Pull up the front wiper arm to remove the blade and element from the windshield so that the hook end faces the wiper pivot. Using your fingertip, hit the latch release button at the base of the arm, then pull the blade up and far enough to release it from the pivot block. Work gently to pull the hook from the top of the wiper arm out of the hole in the wiper blade superstructure in front of the pivot block latch unit, since allowing the wiper arm to recoil against the glass can create problems. Place the tip of the wiper arm carefully onto the window. Before installation, lift up the wiper arm and slide the blade onto the top most part of the arm, checking that the retainer is facing the wiper pivot. Push the hook formation through the wiper guide slot above the pivot block latch unit and turn it until it clicks into the pivot block. Push the wiper blade pivot block/latch into the hook formation so that the latch release tab clicks into place, then easily lower the wiper onto the glass.
