How to Remove and Install a Rear Door Window Regulator on 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Open the door, take off the door trim panel and watershield before you try to remove the window regulator. Then, pull out the glass door from its channel in the regulator and place the door in the open, "UP" position in the frame. Pull out the fasteners keeping the regulator channel and crank motor to the door panel connected and then remove the wire from its clip. Remove the regulator by removing it from the door panel and motor housing, pushing it off to the rear and twisting the front end clockwise through the door panel's upper opening. Once the access hole is open, place and secure the window regulator and motor housing assembly on the door panel, after which you'll attach the fasteners. Place the glass next to the regulator roller channel and fasten it to the lift plate. After that, connect the electrical wires, lower the watershield and set the door trim back in place.
