2003 Dodge Durango Throttle Body Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Throttle Body on 2003 Dodge Durango?
A: First, you should remove the air duct and air resonator box at the throttle body to work on the machine. Unplug the wiring from the throttle body at the IAC motor and TPS. Following that, disconnect the vacuum line at the throttle body and remove all control cables from the throttle body lever arm. After that, unscrew the three bolts that hold the throttle body to the intake manifold and remove the throttle body. Before installing, wipe the O-ring and the mating surfaces of the throttle body and the intake manifold. Set the throttle body onto the manifold alignment pins and attach it with the three bolts turned until the torque wrench reads 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.). Next, reconnect the control cables, vacuum line and the electrical connector and finally replace the air duct and air box on the throttle body.
