Always mount the driver side wiper blade on the driver side and the passenger side blade on the passenger side, since they have extra features. Turn the wiper control to the ON setting and then move the ignition switch to turn the wipers to a comfortable place. Move the front wiper arm up so the blade separates from the glass, push on the latch release tab where the arm meets the pivot and move the blade toward the pivot block to remove it from the wiper hook. First, gently get the hook formed in the superstructure out of the wipers, to avoid its arm smashing against the glass. Before installing the new blade, move the wiper arm away from the windshield, line up the blade near the piece with the notched retainer towards the pivot end and thread the hook through the opening in the blade's superstructure. Hold the pivot block with the hook and bring it up to the latch release point, until the tab snaps on. After that, carefully lower the wiper blade onto the window surface.
