  A: Start by removing the red slider and pressing the tab on the electrical connector at each fuel injector. Whenever possible, the factory wiring for fuel injection is tagged to identify the injector's position; if it is not, note the wire's place before you remove it. Take the negative terminal off the battery and press the pressure release button on the fuel system. Remove the fuel supply tube from where it attaches to the rail. First, remove any electrical wiring from the fuel injectors and afterward take off the screws that hold the fuel rail in place.
