Dodge Neon Fuel Injector is a part of the vehicle which injects fuel into engine cylinders to meet with the air-to-fuel ratio managed by the Engine Control Module.     Q: How to Effectively Service and Repair a Fuel Injector on Dodge Neon?
    A:
    First, disconnect the negative battery cable and release all the pressure inside the fuel system to service or repair the fuel injector. Unhook the gas hose from the rail and also remove the electricity connectors from the fuel injectors. With the screws out, remove the rail from the Intake Manifold and use it to cover the fuel injector openings. After that, take out the fuel injector retainer and remove the injector from the Fuel Rail, while making sure to change the O-rings. First, lightly smear clean engine oil on the upper O-ring and fix the injector in the cup of the fuel rail. Then, put the retaining clip into place. Brush a bit of clean engine oil over the O-rings at the nozzle ends, place the fuel injectors into their openings and finish by seating them properly in the intake manifold. Secure the fuel rail to the engine with mounting screws at 22.5 Nm ± 3 or 30 in. lbs. force, attach all the needed connectors to the fuel injectors and insert the fuel supply tube into the fuel rail.

    Take off the negative cable from your battery and make sure the fuel pressure is let out before starting to replace the injector. After that, disconnect the fuel tube from the rail. Then, cut power to the fuel injectors, unplug their connectors and loosen the screws mounting the Fuel Rail to the Intake Manifold, remembering to cover the injectors as you lift off the rail. After taking out the retainer, pull the injector out of the fuel rail, swap the oil rings and place the injector back into the fuel rail. Apply a small amount of clean engine oil on the top O-ring, slide the injector into the cup on the fuel rail and press the retaining clip on top. Using clean engine oil, coat the O-ring of every injector's nozzle, fit each one into the opening on the intake manifold and gently push each injector in until it is seated properly. Centre the torque on the fuel rail mounting screws at 22.5 Nm ± 3 Nm (200 ± 30 in. lbs.), connect the electrical cables to the fuel injectors and then attach the fuel supply tube to the fuel rail.
