How to service and repair the crankshaft on 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Van?

To service the crankshaft, remove the oil pan and pump, then the bearing caps and bearings. Take out crankshaft, replace old seals and use new seals that have white paint facing to back. Apply Loctite 518 on the bearing cap, align and tighten caps. Reinstall the oil pump and oil pan.
