How to Replace an A/C Hose in HVAC System for Liquid Hose on 2003 Dodge Ram 2500?

Before you replace the A/C liquid hose/line, unplug and isolate the battery's negative cable and gather the refrigerant from in the refrigerant system. Don't forget to open the steam caps on both ends of the liquid line. Then cut the fittings of the liquid line refrigerant line with side-cutters, install new couplers and put pressure caps on both ends of the line. Take out the liquid line from the vehicle by cutting the clips that hold it to the fender or cross brace. During installation, hold the liquid line to any clips found on the inner fender or dash panel, then remove the tape or plugs at the refrigerant fittings of the liquid line, the condenser outlet and the evaporator inlet, so you can attach it to both the condenser and the evaporator. Reconnect the negative battery cable, remove the refrigerant and put the refrigerant back.
