How to maintain a battery tray on 2003 Jeep Liberty?

To service the battery tray, remove the battery, unlatch the PDC and remove the battery temperature sensor. Remove the three nuts holding the tray in place, and then remove it. For installation purposes, the tray should be cleaned, temperature sensor secured, nuts tightened and PDC and battery reinstalled.
