To repair the starter motor you must disconnect the negative battery cable and lift the vehicle. Remove the downpipe from the exhaust and the front propeller shaft. Take off the starter heat shield, disconnect wires and remove the starter. For installation, undo the process, within correct torque specification, and reconnect the battery cable.
