  A: At the back of the intake manifold plenum sits the Intake Manifold Temperature (IMT) sensor. Unplug the cord connecting to the IMT sensor and get rid of any dirt accumulated at the sensor base on the intake manifold. Lift the tiny plastic tab carefully and then rotate the sensor about a quarter turn to the left to remove it and notice the clarity of the sensor O-ring. Prior to installation, confirm that the sensor O-ring is good and the place the sensor will go on the intake manifold is clear of dust. Fit the sensor in the intake manifold and go clockwise with it until it clears the release tab; only then install the electrical connector.
