How to Locate, Remove, and Install the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2004 Jeep Liberty?

At the back end of the intake manifold plenum is where the Intake Manifold Temperature (IMT) sensor can be found. First, remove the sensor's electrical connection, then wash away any dirt from the intake manifold around the sensor. Pull up the little plastic tab and turn the sensor 1/4 turn to the left, examining the sensor's O-ring as it comes off. Just before installing the sensor, confirm the O-ring is working well and wipe away any debris in the sensor hole. Set the sensor in the intake manifold, turn it so it clears the release tab and then attach the electrical connector.
